    Every new tire I have had on my car since replacing the one on the car when new have had a vibration. It's terrible. It makes me not like the car the same. I think most folks that work on these cars don't know what they are doing or don't care.

    Amazing video ... I have a brand new Ford Expedition with 4 new tires. But one of them has excessive road force and still vibrates after balance, why does it happen with new tires ? I can’t find same tire where I live, can I replace only one tire ? Or I need to replace all four ? Keep in mind they are all new , only 1000 miles

    • @Creechimport
      @Creechimport 11 месяцев назад

      If this is a front wheel drive and only vibrates on acceleration, I would suspect a C/V axle issue. 40 to 50 is the sweet spot for axle vibration on some models. Would need more description to help any further.

      @@Creechimport Hey! Thank you for replying! It’s a 2006 Toyota Sequoia… same color as the one on the lift in your video actually 😂. It’s a 4WD model. But I get the vibration whether it’s 2WD or 4WD so I’ve sort of ruled out a CV axle. I start noticing the hum and vibration at the aforementioned speeds 40-55mph) when accelerating, BUT, even when off the gas pedal at those speeds the hum/vibration stays until out of that speed range whether coasting or accelerating…. It’s the weirdest thing. I was also thinking an unbalanced driveshaft axle or even a wheel bearing… But I checked the wheel bearing where the noise was originating, and everything seemed OK. Maybe I should check the other three wheel bearings 🤷🏼‍♂️? I checked the driveshaft for any play, and also greased the Zirk fittings and everything looks good to me. Thanks for any advice!

      Most likely there is some deformity with the tire and it will need to be replaced to correct the road force. We've had this a few times with a brand new tire believe it or not. It happens.

    I recently had my front brakes replaced and a tire rotation. When I left the dealership, they said my bushings and control arms were loose and torn. I would have noticed this, and it wasn’t until I left the dealership that I could CLEARLY feel “thuds” when going over bumps. The situation quickly worsened. I find it strange that a ‘16 Forester with perfect suspension suddenly needs this work, especially since they were trying to get me to do other unnecessary work that day.

      A similar thing happened to my wife. Took out 2015 Forrester for tire balancing due to the whining noise the tires were making. Just after that, the heavy clunking sounds started, constant over 60 mph, intermittent at 40 mph. I jacked it up, and the front right lower control arm bushing is shot - easy to move the wheel by hand and the bushing is, practically gone. What happened?!? How did it go from fine to this overnight?

    I’ll tell you what this will catch on and become more common place and let me tell you this will be a game changer for the cheap tire market..think of it now we have a way to reject a bad tire that fails to fall into reasonable spec.

    • @crpth1
      @crpth1 2 года назад

      You got it all wrong! What happens now is that cheaper tires can be easily accepted and used down the road. Because there's a way to overcome some fabrication issues. That otherwise would be a severe warranty problem! ;-) Now a "bomb shell" as they say in Top Gear.... Surprisingly to many, cheap tires, read mostly from Asian tires manufacturers. In spite of practicing really low prices. Do have quite reasonable fabrication means! Cost cuts out of their factories. As more to do with high competition level and huge fabrication numbers, usually associated with very low salaries, almost no marketing costs and very low R&D costs easier/faster/cheaper access to raw materials! Let's be honest copying is also way cheaper than develop from scratch! With this said remember their fabrication arsenal many times counts with quite modern and developed equipment! ;-)

    • @Creechimport
      @Creechimport 3 года назад

      If it only vibrates when accelerating and is front wheel drive then I would suspect a bad axle and is common.. A tire vibration at that speed would be due to a bent wheel, or maybe a defective tire which is more concerning. I would have your mechanic look at this as soon as possible.
